Training "Getting Digitally Smart" for professionals working with young vulnerable people
At the beginning of the project "Digital Skills 4 You(th)", the project partners researched further and advanced training offers for professionals working with vulnerable young people with regard to digital skills for their daily work. In addition, these professionals, stakeholders and scientists were asked about the importance of digital issues in pedagogical work.
The results of the research and surveys formed the basis for the development of the training offer for professionals working with young vulnerable people: "Getting Digitally Smart". It is a training in blended learning design, which enables flexible and individual learning. The aim of this training is to expand the professionals’ own competences in the field of digitisation, to learn how to use them in their daily work and to pass them on to the children and young people they work with. The training was piloted and evaluated with 36 professionals from Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic.
